Cookies and browser storage
Snyfer uses cookies for account sessions and to protect requests, and browser storage to remember your display preference. Blocking these cookies can prevent sign-in or form submissions from working.
Application cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Configured duration |
|---|---|---|
__Host-snyfer-user and numbered chunks | Keeps your account session on snyfer.com. It is Secure and HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it. Authentication is handled through Supabase. | Up to 7 days; sign-out clears the session cookie |
__Host-csrf | Helps protect requests against cross-site request forgery. | 7 days |
The browser can remove cookies sooner, and session validation can end access before the cookie expires.
Display preferences
The light/dark appearance control stores a preference in your browser. This is used to restore the display you selected, not to identify you across other websites. You can remove it by clearing site storage.
Cloudflare and external services
Cloudflare provides network delivery, security and access control. Its access or security checks may set additional cookies depending on the features applied to your request. See Cloudflare's cookie documentation.
Turnstile checks requests before form submission and scan requests to help prevent automated abuse. Its widget connects to Cloudflare and sends a short-lived verification token to Snyfer for server validation. It is loaded when you submit a protected action, not simply to read a page. This widget is configured without pre-clearance.
Choosing Google sign-in takes you through Google and our authentication provider. Those services handle their own cookies on their domains.
Google Analytics 4 is optional and loads only after you accept analytics. It measures public page visits using Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (up to two years). Authentication pages and private dashboards are excluded. Page addresses sent by the integration omit query parameters and fragments. Advertising features are disabled.
Choose Accept or Refuse in the analytics prompt. Use Cookie settings to change your choice; refusing stops Analytics collection and removes this site's Analytics cookies. Your choice is remembered in local storage as snyfer-analytics-consent. Microsoft Clarity is not installed yet.
Managing storage
Use your browser's site settings to view or delete cookies and local storage for snyfer.com. Deleting the session cookies signs you out; deleting display storage resets your appearance preference. Cloudflare access may need to be completed again.
