Understanding the AMF warnings

The French AMF publishes blacklists and warnings about unauthorised offers and impersonations of regulated firms. The product involved and the exact website matter when interpreting an entry.

Different products

The lists cover areas such as Forex, binary options, crypto-asset derivatives and miscellaneous assets. Check the relevant product list.

Impersonated firms

An impersonation warning does not identify the genuine firm as the operator of the copied website.

Lists are incomplete

The AMF updates its lists regularly, but new unauthorised websites can appear before a warning is published.
