Understanding the ASIC warnings

ASIC publishes its Investor Alert List through Moneysmart, its consumer website. Use the entry to identify the business, website or contact details involved, then check the relevant ASIC register.

Names can change

ASIC notes that a name or contact details may have changed since an alert was added.

No match is not clearance

The list is not exhaustive. A business missing from it still needs to be checked before you rely on it.
