The list

What being on it
actually means.

How to read the ASIC warnings, what our collection covers, and where to check a firm. Explained by Snyfer using the official sources below.

Understanding the ASIC warnings

ASIC publishes its Investor Alert List through Moneysmart, its consumer website. Use the entry to identify the business, website or contact details involved, then check the relevant ASIC register.

ASIC via Moneysmart

The consumer alert list is hosted on Moneysmart. The register is a separate ASIC service.

Names can change

ASIC notes that a name or contact details may have changed since an alert was added.

No match is not clearance

The list is not exhaustive. A business missing from it still needs to be checked before you rely on it.

The numbers

What the archive
shows.

  • Snyfer currently tracks 4,040 notices published by ASIC.
  • Those notices name 4,323 distinct domains, an average of 1.1 per notice.
  • August 2026 was the busiest month, with 158 notices.
  • Over the last year that is about 105 warnings a month, counting one per domain named.
  • 0.1 percent of the domains ASIC has named are grouped under Cognivault AI.
  • 7 groups were still being flagged in the three months to Sep 1, 2026.
  • The most recent notice we hold from ASIC is dated Sep 9, 2026. We log notices as they are published and do not track removals, so this archive is a record of what was filed, not of what is listed today.

Clusters

Names that travel
together.

Domains ASIC has named that share technical traits with one another. A regulator names firms one at a time; the infrastructure they share is ours to see.
