What being on it actually means.

How to read the FI warnings, what our collection covers, and where to check a firm. Explained by Snyfer using the official sources below.

Understanding the FI warnings

Sweden’s Finansinspektionen publishes investor alerts about firms suspected of offering financial services or products without the necessary Swedish or EU authorisation.

Read the official Warning List

Company and website

Each collected domain comes from the website identified on the corresponding FI alert page and remains attached to that alert’s company name.

Source authority

FI’s list includes its own warnings and warnings issued by other supervisory authorities. The detail page identifies the source.

Date meaning

FI says the displayed date is the date the supervisory authority issued its warning, which can predate publication on FI’s list.

FI says the list is continuously updated and is not complete.

These counts describe our collection, not the complete official list. One notice can name several domains. The warning date is not the date of our last successful collection.

Check authorisation or registration

Use FI’s Company Register to check whether a company or person is authorised to offer financial services.

Reporting and complaint guidance

FI accepts information about possible regulatory violations; suspected fraud should also be reported to the police.

When FI publishes.

Notices per month. An authority that has gone quiet looks quiet here, which is the thing a list published as a single page can never show you.

What the archive shows.

  • Snyfer currently tracks 461 notices published by FI.
  • Those notices name 499 distinct domains, an average of 1.1 per notice.
  • March 2026 was the busiest month, with 104 notices.
  • Over the last year that is about 30 warnings a month, counting one per domain named.
  • 0.8 percent of the domains FI has named are grouped under Cognivault AI.
  • One group was still being flagged in the three months to Oct 6, 2026.
  • The most recent notice we hold from FI is dated Oct 6, 2026. We log notices as they are published and do not track removals, so this archive is a record of what was filed, not of what is listed today.

Names that travel together.

Domains FI has named that share technical traits with one another. A regulator names firms one at a time; the infrastructure they share is ours to see.

The notices themselves, newest first.

Every row links to FI's own published notice, so nothing here has to be taken on our word.
