The list

What being on it
actually means.

How to read the FINMA warnings, what our collection covers, and where to check a firm. Explained by Snyfer using the official sources below.

Understanding the FINMA warnings

FINMA uses its warning list to highlight companies and individuals whose authorisation is in question. Inclusion is not, by itself, a finding that their activities are unlawful.

Authorisation concern

FINMA says the entry highlights a lack of authorisation. Check the original listing for the named entity.

Not an automatic finding

Being listed does not automatically mean that a company is acting unlawfully.

Entries can be removed

FINMA explains that entries are removed after its investigations and any appropriate measures are completed.

FINMA says the list is neither exhaustive nor updated daily.

From an official warning to a Snyfer analysis

Use the archive to open the original notice and the domain's Snyfer page. Where scan results and network matches are available, they add technical context. Those matches are Snyfer's analysis; they are not additional findings attributed to FINMA.

The numbers

What the archive
shows.

  • Snyfer currently tracks 827 notices published by FINMA.
  • Those notices name 900 distinct domains, an average of 1.1 per notice.
  • August 2026 was the busiest month, with 39 notices.
  • Over the last year that is about 34 warnings a month, counting one per domain named.
  • 0.6 percent of the domains FINMA has named are grouped under Veltrix Markets.
  • 2 groups were still being flagged in the three months to Jul 14, 2026.
  • The most recent notice we hold from FINMA is dated Sep 1, 2026. We log notices as they are published and do not track removals, so this archive is a record of what was filed, not of what is listed today.

Clusters

Names that travel
together.

Domains FINMA has named that share technical traits with one another. A regulator names firms one at a time; the infrastructure they share is ours to see.

Every row links to FINMA's own published notice, so nothing here has to be taken on our word.
