The list

What being on it
actually means.

How to read the SC Malaysia warnings, what our collection covers, and where to check a firm. Explained by Snyfer using the official sources below.

Understanding the SC Malaysia warnings

The Securities Commission Malaysia publishes an Investor Alert List naming unauthorised entities and individuals. Compare the exact name and website with the original entry; some entries identify potential impersonations of legitimate businesses.

Names and websites

This archive retains the published entity name alongside each collected domain. A single entity may use several websites.

Potential clones

A potential-clone label concerns an impersonation. It should not be read as a warning against the genuine business whose identity is being copied.

Publication year and detection date

SC supplies only a publication year. Historical entries show that year only. New entries found after our initial import show Detected on: the first day Snyfer observed the alert, not a confirmed publication day. Later checks do not change that date.

SC states that this list is not exhaustive. Absence from the list is not proof that a provider is authorised.

Use the authority's own guidance and contact information when checking a provider or raising a concern.

SC publishes the listing year only. Historical entries show that year; new alerts show the date first detected by Snyfer, not an exact publication date. This collection includes entries from 2024 with a non-social website URL.

From an official warning to a Snyfer analysis

Use the archive to open the original notice and the domain's Snyfer page. Where scan results and network matches are available, they add technical context. Those matches are Snyfer's analysis; they are not additional findings attributed to SC Malaysia.

  • Those notices name 473 distinct domains, an average of 1.2 per notice.
  • January 2026 was the busiest month, with 82 notices.
  • Over the last year that is about 8 warnings a month, counting one per domain named.

  • 2 groups were still being flagged in the three months to Jan 1, 2026.
  • The most recent notice we hold from SC Malaysia is dated Jan 1, 2026. We log notices as they are published and do not track removals, so this archive is a record of what was filed, not of what is listed today.

Clusters

Names that travel
together.

Domains SC Malaysia has named that share technical traits with one another. A regulator names firms one at a time; the infrastructure they share is ours to see.

Grouped by shared technical traits. That is a lead, not a verdict: shared hosting, common templates and reused libraries also tie together large numbers of unrelated sites. Check each domain on its own report before drawing a conclusion about it.
